ImmunaX is a member of the prevention product family. It is a mixture of medicinal mushrooms with natural vitamin C. It is primarily recommended in the case of increased physical stress ( ie. sportsmen, strenuous physical labor) in order to help preserve optimal functioning and performance. Contains polysaccharides!
The product’s main component is the caterpillar fungi (Cordyceps) extract. It is native to the highlands of China, Nepal, and Tibet, growing at altitudes higher than 3500 meters. This fungi is the result of a parasitic relationship between the funguss and the larvaa of several species. The fungus germinates in living organisms kills and mummifies the insect, and then the cordyceps grows from the body of the insect.
It is known in the West as a medicinal mushroom and its use has a long history in traditional Chinese and traditional Tibetan medicine. The caterpillar fungus became famous worldwide in 1993, when three female Chinese athletes broke several world records at the national games. The amount of new world records being set at a single track event caused much attention and suspicion. Following the races, the athletes' tests revealed no illegal substances, and their coach told reporters that besides the hard work, the runners were taking Cordyceps at his request. It has since become one of the most requested food supplements among athletes. Folk medicine uses it for the cleansing and damage prevention of the kidneys, liver, and lungs. It may also be suggested against minor depression.
Health supplements do not substitute a healthy, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle and/or professional medical treatment. Do not consume more than the recommended daily intake!
