Internally used, milfoil herbal tea has a digestive, antispasmodic, carminative, and anti-inflammatory effect. Furthermore, it has a mild antibacterial and haemostatic effect as well. It may also be used for the treatment and prevention of catarrh of the stomach and intestines. Milfoil may also act as a diuretic and fever reducer. Externally, it has an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing promoting effect.

Recommended Usage: Prepare an infusion by adding 2 teaspoons of the tea leafs to 1.5 dl (approx 5 fl.oz.) boiling water, and let stand 10 minutes, then drain. Daily dosage is 2-4 g. May be applied as a tea or as a sitting bath.
