Lemongrass tea has sedative, fever-reducing, mild antibacterial, and antiviral properties. This herb may also be used to help treat gastric and intestinal complaints. Furthermore, it has been reported to relieve restlessness, irritability, as well as heart problems. Externally lemongrass helps relieve the symptoms of the herpes virus infections.

Recommended Usage: Prepare an infusion by brewing 1.3 teaspoons of the herbs in 1.5 dl (approx. 5 fl.oz.) boiling water. Let stand for 10 minutes then drain. Daily dosage is 2-5 g. May be applied internally as a tea or externally for compressions.
