Recommended Intake: 6-10 raw seeds daily, or cook it with stewed fruits, soups, or steep it in teas.
Recipe for cases of cough: Chop 1 pear, add 10 ginkgo seeds and boil it in 3dl of water. Add 2 tbs of honey and drink the mixture during the course of the day.
The fruit of Buddha, the “silver peach,” has been used for 5000 years in traditional Chinese medicine. The Ben Cao Gang Mu, the most renamed ancient Chinese herb manual describes it's effects as such: “Penetrates the lungs, promotes the spleen, stops cough, and soothes urination.”
