Ingredients per capsule (daily dosage): 20 mg resveratrol, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, gelatin, E171 (titanium dioxide).

Recommended Intake: 1x1 capsule daily, to be taken with plenty of water.

Resveratrol is a secondary plant substance which the plant produces in reaction to stress. Resveratrol has antioxidant properties, inhibiting the harmful oxidative processes and thus helping to delay aging. In may also have a beneficial effect on blood, the cardiovascular system, and research indicates that it may have an antiviral effect as well. Investigations done at the University of Santiago de Compostela have shown that resveratrol may contribute to the maintenance of a balanced mood in humans.

Flask experiments have proven resveratrol’s effectiveness against cancer cells also. Researchers believe that it’s mechanism of action is within the prevention of a protein production (important for the growth of cancer cells), thus reducing the life span of the cancer cells. This protein is called „NF-kB,” which is found within the cell nucleus. Resveratrol fascilitates and promotes the programmed death of the cancer cells. Other studies have shown it’s positive impact on diseases such as artherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), heart disease, arthritis (joint inflammation), and some autoimmine diseases.
