These oat bran tablets are manufactured according to modern technology using quality oat bran. Oat bran, a food which is water soluble and is rich in fiber and trace elements, has an important role in a healthy and modern diet.

Nowadays, much can be heard about the benefits of a diet high in fiber versus the „civilized” diet high in fat and sugar. Especially important are the so-called „water-soluble fibers,” because clinical studies have proven that they play an important role in the reduction of the absorption of sugars and fats within the intestinal tract. For example, it has been observed that those with diabetes who consume oat bran see a reduction of insulin needs by about 25-50%, while those who did not need insulin were able to stop their tablet treatment. As a result of the reduction of fat absorption, a reduction of cholesterol levels was observed.

Another physiological effect of fibers which easily swell is that they produce a feeling of fullness, thus are a useful complement to a weight loss diet. One of the consequences of a low fiber diet is constipation, but it may easily be treated through regular oat bran consumption. The multifaceted effects of oat bran is also evidenced in that it may even be used to treat diarrhea thanks to it’s good water retention ability.
